What We Don't Realize

The internet we flooded with different posts about how the government of the Philippines has done nothing to make our country better. Colorful words were thrown back and forth and the mass hold a rally every now and then. Most of the news circulated about how different party-list members or an independent politicians trying to shackle the government with them.

Two thousand and fifteen, the Philippines is nearing its presidential election and different foul actions of politicians float. One of those was how the Makati City Hall costs more than it should have.

Filipinos, according to research are one of the most emotional people in the world. They can be easily swayed into your belief if you used enough good words, a very catchy theme-song, a compilation of all of your projects and an unusual slogan. Sometimes, it’s not good for the reputation of the government anymore. When single news got aired with a single interviewee claiming that the government was not doing anything, well, it will trigger the domino.

With just one interviewee, half of the people believing in the current administration will have doubts, while the supporters of the opposition will rejoice, because it is actually good news, for them. What others failed to realize was that, they will open their mouth and they will blab complaints, not because they know about it first-hand but because they saw it on TV. The rallies who were spewing nonsense at the back do not actually know what they are doing. They will hold placards saying that the government is not about helping the decline when it comes to the number of employment and an increased in unemployment when in fact, they are there, in the rally, holding placards instead of searching for jobs.
They want to be spoon feed.

In the constitution of the Philippines, it is declared under Article XII (National Economy and Patrimony) where patrimony was claimed to talk about “qualified Filipinos.” In this case, this section of the constitution was bended a long time ago because our nation wants everyone to have a job. However, not all of them are qualified or competent enough for the job. Some of them have backer and that’s what matter, for them to have a job. The thing is, if ever or if it seems fictitious, the increase in employment rate doesn’t really matter, yes it’ll help our citizens get over a day with food in their tummy, and it’ll do us good, individually. However, lots of numbers of employed incompetent Filipinos will not do us good, as a whole or as a nation. It will lower our productivity rate and if it is too much, our nation will be branded us as one of the countries whose citizens are not that good, in the end, investors will eventually get lesser and businesses resulting to job will eventually vanish. We do not want that.

Let’s try mastering what we think we are good at first before we go for a job and also, let’s all love our job. Our government is doing what they can, it’s just that, we are too vast and the populations are too big, so we should stop complaining when we don’t get what we want. Remember, there are those who are in need more than you and we should really stop our crab mentality.
